About Dr. R. David Coolidge:
Dr. David received his Ph.D. from the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, CA. From 2008-2013, he worked as a Muslim chaplain at Dartmouth College and Brown University. From 2014-2017, he taught an undergraduate course on Islamic law and ethics at New York University. He has a rich background as a Muslim chaplain, educator, and board member of various American Muslim institutions. His journey in Islam began with his conversion in 1998, and he has since been an influential voice in the community.
