All praise and thanks be to Allah the Almighty, the Most Merciful, the Most Generous Giver of blessings. By the grace of Allah, Boston Islamic Seminary has taken various steps that placed the organization on solid ground to establish an institution of Islamic higher education in the United States.
BIS is the first Islamic seminary in the US to receive the authority to grant a master’s degree in Islamic religious leadership (MIRL), and I am humbled and glad to share that BIS’s dedicated team and leadership just welcomed its second MIRL cohort in Fall 2022. We have also launched four graduate-level certificate courses this Fall, along with the 5th year of the Iqra fellowship program for college students and young professionals, alhamdulillah.
