As-salamu `Alaykum Wa Rahmatu Allah,
We hope this message finds you well.
Please join us for an informative session in our Book Talk Series featuring Dr. Asif Hirani, who will discuss his latest work, “Islamic vs Postmodern Paradigm Of Sexuality: Rethinking the Rainbow.”
This session is for anyone interested ‘in understanding the Islamic and postmodern paradigms of sexuality to recognize the problems and identify their divine solution regarding sexuality & gender chaos that is caused during Postmodern times.’
Date & Time: Saturday, May 4, 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM ET
Modality: Online via Zoom
About the Book:
A century ago, U.S. women were denied voting rights, and now we question the definition of a woman due to the absence of divine guidance in social sciences, causing societal extremes. Previously, homosexuality was stigmatized in the West, but it has become a celebrated identity marker. Changes in the perception of sexuality—from an action to an identity determinant—have led to conflict and an expanded LGBTQI+ identity spectrum. Understanding this shift through the Islamic and postmodern paradigms could provide insights into the ongoing sexual and gender confusion. [Purchase Here]
