PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

(And hasten to forgiveness from your Lord and a garden as wide as the heavens and earth, prepared for the righteous) (Qur’an 3:133)

Dear Seekers of Forgiveness,

Jazakallah Khair for joining us every Sunday; It’s time to take our session to the next level and increase our level of commitment in time for Ramadan, InshAllah!

Join the Seekers of Forgiveness group every night, at least 30min before Fajr  on the Seekers of Forgiveness Facebook Group with the intention of showing Allah Almighty that we are a sincere and committed community longing for his forgiveness, preparing for the holiest of months.

The session will take place as follows:

– Guidance will be shared prior to each session and this will be our focus for that night. This will be in the form of a particular Dua, Hadith or Ayah in relation to enhancing our Istigfaar (forgiveness) using methods of the Qur’an and Prophet’s guidance.

– Everyone should participate every night by posting his/her own suggestions and reflections to help motivate and benefit others to enhance their istigfaar.

– Come with your sincere intentions, pray Tahajjud Salaah and partake in focused, collective invocation of Allah’s mercy during the last third of the night.

– In order for this group to be effective, we need you to invite other seekers and help increase this community.

May Allah the Most Beneficent reward you for each person you motivate to attend and shower his unlimited forgiveness & mercy upon our homes, Ameen!

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

“Our Lord descends to the lowest heaven in the last third of every night, and he says: Who is calling upon me that I may answer him? Who is asking from me that I may give him? Who is seeking my forgiveness that I may forgive him?” (Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 1094, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 758)

Don’t forget to share the motivation and encourage others to join too!
